Question and Answers

Q:

which camera is better? the one with higher magnification or the one with higher resolution?

A:

The higher the resolution the more detail a photo is going to have. One megapixel means one million pixels. For a digital camera advertising its resolutoion it means that it can capture the image focused in on the lens into a million dots. The more number of dots within a constant space then the less they look like dots and the finer the picture. I think we have reached a point where telling the difference between an eight megapixel camera and a ten megapixel camera is not as important as in the quality of the capturing chip inside. For this there is no measuring stick, just reviews on digital camera website such as Digital Photography Review

Since most people will print out photos in 3x5, if they ever do actually print a photo, I suggest getting a camera that is comfortable in size and has a decent optical zoom. Ignore the digital zoom feature and only compare the optical zoom of a camera.

Q:

washer sounds like airplane while spinning

A:

Based on your symptom and details the likely cause of the noise is worn out spin bearings. Open the door and push up on the spin basket at the very front of the spin basket to check for up and down play and then rotate the basket 1/4 of the way and repeat. Also push and pull on the spin basket in order to check for end play. The rear tub will need to replaced and possibly the spin basket. The rear tub w/bearing will cost approximately $170.00 not including the labor.

Q:

One blade higher than the other blade

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the tractor. The blades should be the same height. Park the tractor on a hard level surface. Then lift the mower deck all the way up. Now turn the blades so they are pointing out but match in the middle. They should be even with each other. If one of the blades is lower, I recommend replacing the blades. If they are even with each other, I recommend following the deck leveling instructions in the manual. I have also posted the instructions for leveling the deck below. Click on the image below to enlarge them. If you still have problems, I recommend having a service tech come out and repair the tractor. You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician.
