Question and Answers

Q:

remington22lr model 66

A:

I see that Marc posted a link in the above response for the page on the Remington website that has the Owner's Manual links. That should help you find the manual for the Remington Model 66 rifle.

Q:

what does code f 05 mean

A:

The "F05" fault code indicates a Water Temperature Sensor Error. If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, the "F05" error code will be displayed. See image below for further instructions.

Potential Causes:

  1. Check the Water Temperature Sensor resistance. It should measure 9.7K ohms at 86 degrees.
  2. Check connections to the Water Temperature Sensor
You will likely find the wire connection had come loose from the temperature sensor. Without having the model number of your HE3t washer I will not be able to confirm if the heater and sensor is located at the lower backside of the tub or at the front lower section of the tub. Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the front lower access panel and checking for loose connections on the temperature sensor.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

What is wrong when the igniter will glow for 10-12 seconds and then go off with out lighting gas?

A:

The most likely problem is weak solenoid coils on the gas valve assembly. There is always a chance that it's a failed gas valve assembly too. Key# 10 in the image is the gas valve assembly and key# 13 and 14 are the coils. It's recommended to replace both at the same time. I recommend ordering the coil kit which will include both coils. The part number for the coil kit is 279834.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dryer.
