Question and Answers

Q:

What is wrong when the igniter will glow for 10-12 seconds and then go off with out lighting gas?

A:

The most likely problem is weak solenoid coils on the gas valve assembly. There is always a chance that it's a failed gas valve assembly too. Key# 10 in the image is the gas valve assembly and key# 13 and 14 are the coils. It's recommended to replace both at the same time. I recommend ordering the coil kit which will include both coils. The part number for the coil kit is 279834.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dryer.

Q:

What does error 13 mean?

A:

The E: 13 is a drain pump issue (drain pump time exceeded). It may be a faulty drain pump, bad wiring, or a clogged drain hose.

I have included a set of illustrated instructions (See below). These should step you through the process of examining the drain pump and its components.

This is a very labor intensive do it yourself project, if you are not completely confident in your repair skills, I recommend calling a service company to diagnose and repair your appliance.

If you need more assistance please resubmit question with more details. I will be looking forward to helping you again in the near future.

Note: Our imaging system is malfunctioning. I would like to apologize in advance if the attachments do not appear online.

Q:

Is there a tool used to change oil on 247.88780 snowblower?

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with changing the oil in the snow blower. The drain plug on the engine should have a 10 MM head on it. It requires you to use a 10 MM wrench or socket to remove it. You can purchase the wrench from your local Sears store. The image below has the instructions for draining the oil.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
