Q:

Interpreting Error codes on Bosch Washer WFMC2100UC/01 Bosch Washer WFMC2100UC/01

A:

The D:08 indicates that the motor speed sensor (tachometer) failed. The D:10 indicates that the power limiter switch tripped due to the motor being overloaded or binding up. The C:01 indicates that the codes were encountered the previous cycle in the last 16 washes.

I recommend that you unplug the washer and check the drive system again for binding. You indicated that the drum spins freely by hand (I assume with the drive belt attached to the motor). With the belt disconnected, the spin basket should spin even easier. Check for any binding or noise in the spin basket with the belt detached. The basket may not be spinning easily with a load of wet clothes in the basket.

If you find no problems in the drive system, then you may need to replace the motor.

I hope that this information helps. If you need further assistance, let us know.

Q:

Treadmill motor repair

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the treadmill. If you are getting the error code, I recommend checking the speed sensor and disc on the end of the motor. If the sensor is not connected or adjusted, the console will not register the speed and error out. If the wires are connected, make sure the disc is in the center of the sensor. If the sensor is adjusted correctly, you will need a volt ohmmeter to diagnose the treadmill. If you have a meter and feel confident making live voltage checks, just let me know.

I hope this is helpful.

Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark
