Thank you for your question.  I am sorry you are having a problem with the Craftsman router 32027669.   The router should have a collet inside of the nut that you tighten to secure the bit. If the collet is missing, the unit will not hold the bit. I recommend removing the nut and turn it over. It should have a collet inside of it. The image below shows what the collet and but should look like. If the collet is missing, you can order one from the following link. Replacement collet and nut assembly for a Craftsman router model number 32027669.    I hope this is helpful. You could have a problem with the motor, the wiring or the electronics. Page 33 of the Owner's Manual shows how to check the motor brushes. If the brushes are okay, then you may need to have the router serviced by a technician.
