Q:

Solenoid Kit did not make the LT 2000 19.5 OHV start.

A:

Thank you for your question on the tractor engine not turning over to start.

There are a number of things that can cause this to be the problem. If I understand you correctly you are stating that the engine will not spin over when you turn the key?

Please make you have the clutch lever in and the PTO switch in the off position.

The engine model number is a composite of a string of numbers in order to look up parts or a manual.

I believe your engine model number is: 31p677-0804-B1. With that information you should be able to pull up at least parts information.

The start solenoid wire may not have to be grounded if the bolts that secure the solenoid screw directly into the chassis.

The Model number of the tractor is under the seat and the format will look like this: 247.2XXXXXXX or 917.2XXXXXX.

In looking at the picture you sent I looks like it may be a 247.model that has the fuse in the back under the seat below the battery box.

If you would please reply with this number I will be able to look at the breakdown of the tractor and not just the engine model number. Once you have the tractor model number you should be able to look up the manual information.

In the meantime please check the inline fuse in the wire harness under the hood. Some off them are located in the wire harness under the steering area and other models are located next to the start solenoid. It usually is a yellow 20 amp automotive type fuse that plugs into the harness.

Please let me know what you find out.

Thank you for the update on the starting problem. Did you find the fuse? To see if the solenoid is not engaging you could jump across the two red terminals with a large insulated handel screw driver to see if the starter will engage. If it does then you will need to see why the start solenoid is not getting 12 volts through the safety circuit and engage the solenoid. If you do not find the problem please look under the seat of the tractor and reply with the model number of the tractor. Sam A.

Q:

Electrolux Oven Poor Temp Control

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

When you use an oven thermometer in the oven, make sure it's not near the floor or ceiling and also give the range plenty of time to reach the operating temperature. Note: The oven temperature will be slightly lower than selected when using the convection bake.

The broil element (upper) and bake element (hidden) should measure between 14-19 Ohms. I added an image below of the RTD scale of the oven temperature sensor probes. At room temperature of 75 plus or minus 2.5 degrees, the sensor should measure 1091 Ohms plus or minus 5.3 Ohms.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
