Q:

Kenmore Induction Cooker 405.09000 error code EC

A:

I did not find information on a Kenmore Induction Cooker with that model number 405.09000. That EC code may indicate that the burner does not detect a magnetic pot or pan. It could also indicate a control failure or component problem. If that is a valid model number then there may not be serviceable part for the cooker. If you recheck that model number and find additional numbers, I recommend that you reply with that revised information. We will try to assist you further once we receive more information.

You may also want to send us a digital picture of the induction cooker. That may help us determine the type that you have.

I contacted the manufacturer. They are trying to get me a copy of the owner's manual and the technical information on that induction cooker. I have not received that information yet. I hope to receive it soon.

Q:

bissell proheat 2x 8920,9200,9300,9400 series

A:

Make sure that the tanks are seated properly. If the tanks are okay, then you likely have a pump failure or a restriction in one of the hoses. Here is a link for a previous answer that has information and images on the pump and plumbing inside the unit: Where can I get a diagram showing where the hoses connect? . If you are advanced in technical skills, you may be able to access the plumbing and check the pump. Here is a link for a previous answer that shows how to open up the unit: How do I change the hose assembly on a Bissell 9200 Pro Heat steam cleaner? . Be sure that you have the shampooer unplugged when accessing internal components. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .
