Q:

Can I use a standard 125/250v 3-wire clothes dryer power cord if the manual states to use a 120/240v?

A:

The 3 wire power cord rated at 125/250 volt, 30 amp is perfect for you application and is pretty much a standard rating for dryer power cords. It's safe to use a power cord that has a higher voltage/amperage rating rather than a power cord with too small of voltage/amperage rating.

Using a power cord with a volt/amperage rating lower than what's recommended is not safe or recommended.

It will not harm your dryer by any means. It's perfectly OK to use the 125v/250v 30 amp power cords on your electric dryer.
