Q:

Where does the green wire go?

A:

That green wire that you are describing is a ground wire that should be clipped to bare metal inside the evaporator compartment. It is typically attached to the metal housing of the evaporator fan or it may be clipped to the metal evaporator cover. The exact location does not matter as long as that ground wire clip is attached to a grounded metal surface in that evaporator area that is not too close to the defrost heater element.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

If you are not sure how to attach that wire or you continue to have problems with the ice maker, you can have the refrigerator examined and repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Green locking light keeps green. How do I unlock it?

A:

Those links for previous answers may help you resolve this dishwasher problem. You can also try to reset the control board by shutting off the house circuit breaker to completely disconnect power to that appliance. Leave the power off for 5 minutes. Restore power and see if the control will work properly.

If you cannot reset the control, then you may have a bad key panel that is causing this problem.

If you are certain that you have a bad key panel, then you can order that part from this page: Dishwasher Parts . Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breaker to disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and the full model number of your dishwasher.

If you get to a point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Why does the green sanitize light keep blinking?

A:

If you select the Sani Rinse option, SANITIZED glows when the Sani Rinse cycle is finished. If your dishwasher did not properly sanitize your dishes, the light flashes at the end of the cycle. This can happen if the cycle is interrupted. The light goes off when you open the door.

There is a possibility that the heating element is no longer working in order to heat the water up to 155 degrees in the final rinse or the cycle was interrupted.

CLEAN glows when a cycle is finished. The light turns off when you open the door or press Cancel/Drain.
