Ice Maker not working right - frozen water in bottom of ice bin

A:

I provided some information about that ice maker module in the image below. There is a water level adjustment screw on that component as shown in that image. You can try to adjust the water fill using that adjustment screw. That may fix your problem.

If that does not help, then you may have a bad water valve or a problem with that ice maker module. The ice maker module will send voltage to the water valve solenoid coil for about 5 seconds to fill that ice maker. You will normally hear the valve buzz when it is getting voltage. If the water continues to flow after the buzz stops then you probably need to replace that valve. If the buzz lasts longer than seven seconds and you are not able to adjust that water fill, then the ice maker assembly will probably need to be replaced.
