Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model 253.68989801; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. Based on your description of the problem I am guessing that the snow in freezer you referred to is a light frosting on food and internal parts of the freezer. If this is correct I would recommend checking the door seals for poor sealing all around the cabinet both freezer door and fresh food doors. Check the food load to be certain that the air vents are not blocked near the front of the freezer floor.   If there has been an ice maker installed, look for air leaks on the back of the unit where the service lines feed into the ice maker. When there is frost build up on the evaporator coil air flow is blocked to the fresh food section, if you suspect this pull freezer back panel and check for heavy frosting, this could be a defrost issue or just warm air intrusion for door openings or door leaks. Try defrosting the unit completely and observe for a few days if frost reappears you will need a technician. I hope this helps, if you need more help reply with added details and I will be happy to respond. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services. Ron H.
