I have a Sears Kenmore Elite Dehumidifier # 251997010001.Pump drain will not automatically drain. Setup instuctions followed. No blockages. How do I check pump?

To check the pump, you can manually fill the bucket all of the way up with water to see if the pump will start and drain properly. If the pump runs and will not drain, then you likely have a failed drain pump. If the pump will not run, you could have a bad electronic control board or a failed drain pump. Thank you for you question as to why the pump is not pumping the water out.

Do you get an error 6 code on the display?

I have given you a page of diagnostics below for the pump not working.

Also make sure the hose is not kinked and the water is going into the bucket and there is enough water for the pump to start.

The bucket has to fill to a certain level before the pump will start.

Please reference the image below for further instructions on diagnosis of the pump.
