Question and Answers

Q:

the water flow on my pressure washer stops when I turn the engine on. why?

A:

Without a model number, I can only give you general information.

The nozzle might be restricted and when the engine starts the unloader valve in the pump is opening and letting the water recirculate through the pump.

Check the screen in the water inlet for blockage.

Check the pressure hose for blockage or kinking.

If you have more questions, send another email and include the model of the pressure washer. We will try to help.

Q:

Why did our 1995 built-in microwave stop working?

A:

Several different internal component problems could prevent your microwave from heating. You could have a failed magnetron, a blown fuse, a switch problem or a failed control board. Internal components of the microwave must be repaired only by a service technician. Internal capacitors can retain an electrical charge even when electrical power is completely disconnected from the unit. A microwave radiation leakage check must be performed using proper testing equipment following any internal microwave repair. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your microwave.

Q:

Is it worth trying to repair a 1995 Kenmore oven?

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can certainly understand wanting to save money if it is something simple to repair.

It sounds like you control board has failed and it will be more annoying than dangerous with making that sound. You may want to turn the circuit breaker off and the fuse box for the wall oven for at least one minute and then turn it back on to see if the control will reset.

If it does not then turn the breaker off to not have the buzzing sound.

To replace the control the part number is: WB27K5140 and it sells for about $215.00 plus shipping.

If you decide to change the clock it is not very difficult but you may want to invest the $200.00 + into a new wall oven.

If you have a technician do the repair you will have about $365.00 into the range.

If you decide to replace the control we can give you enough instructions if you feel comfortable pulling the oven out of the cabinet and working with the wiring.

Wall oven option .

Please reply if you decide to repair the oven and we will be happy to help you with the repair.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.
