Q:

carborator replacement on my chipper model #247795890

A:

I will be happy to assist you. I looked up the carburetor for your engine. You are correct the carburetor does change to a newer model. The image below show where the fuel line connects. The other is for the crankcase breather. If the breather hose on your engine is not long enough to reach the port, you can plug the hole in that port. That will prevent dirt and debris from entering the carburetor. Once you have the carburetor connected, check the operation. I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark

Q:

How do you pull the wheel on a Craftsman shredder model # 247795890 .

A:

Thank you for your question.

The nut you are talking about is a push nut. This style nut is really meant to be a one time use. To remove the push nut pry the plastic cap off. Then use a flat blade screwdriver to pry behind the metal ring. You have to work your way around the nut to get it to slide off. I usually get frustrated and cut it off. If you cut the nut off or it breaks, you can purchase a new one from a local hardware store. It is a 5/8 push nut.

I hope this is helpful. Please reply below if you need further assistance. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark T.
