Just purchased a new craftsman yard vacuum and need some help

It can be very frustrating when your brand new yard vacuum begins to malfunction. While you are waiting for your expert answer, I did some research on the unit. At this time, I was unable to locate information that would be helpful in regards to your question. Some of these questions that are asked will need specific research and will be answered by an expert with-in two business days but usually sooner.

Thank you for your question on the yard vacuum propels wheels moving without pulling the drive bail.

The drive bail has two holes in the side of the handle.

Make sure that the cable hook is in the lower hole. The image below shows it in the upper hole.

If it is in the lower hole and it still moves with out the bail being pulled then I would hold the machine back and activate the cable to get the new belt to wear in a little so it will not move when not engaged.

Please let me know it that helped.
