Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dehumidifier. Upon researching modelWDSR2120J9WW; the pressure switch does control the amount of water coming in. It could need to be replaced if it’s not functioning correctly.

Tub Bearing Leak? LAT9206BAE

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears
I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is problems with the washer.
Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Maytag Laundry model number LAT9206BAE.
First thing to check to see if there is anyting stuck in the small holes at the bottom of the washer, (check things like nails, screws, etc.)

Then I would look underneath the washer, tilt it backwards, and see if there is any signs of grease that might be leaking from the transmission.  When you turn the pulley by hand underneath your washer (turn it both ways), make sure the tub spins.   If it is agitating when you can turn it both ways, then that is usually the sign of a transmission that needs to be replaced.

The thrust bearing kit may or may not take care of the problem you are having.  Can't be 100 percent certain.

You are looking at a machine over 10 years old so if it is the transmission or the tub bearing kit then I would get a new machine.   It is a lot of work and if you pay some one to do the work it will be more beneficial in the long run to get a newer machine in my opinion.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter and I hope we can help you with your future questions and repairs.  Thank you for choosing Sears and using our

My new washing machine won't run. It just keeps filling and filling and filling. Water is running and it must be draining because it doesn't fill up and run.

Thank You for contacting

If the water stops entering the washer when you push/pull the timer then the likely failure is the water level pressure switch or the air hose connected to the pressure switch has developed a hole. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.
