Question and Answers

Q:

12V Tire Inflator power supply

A:

Thank you for your question on the 120 volt to 12 volt DC power for the inflator.

I do not think it is a good idea. I don't think the power supply is heavy enough to handle the inflator and will burn out.

Is it the power supply that will handle 1A DC current?

If that is the case I don think it will work since most of the inflators have a DC motor that runs off the 15 amp power plug in the car.

Please let me know what you decide to do.
