Question and Answers

Q:

My radial saw just stopped working. It worked and I shut it off after I completed the operation. When I turned the on-off switch back on, it didn't work.

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand you thinking the on/off switch has failed on your radial arm saw.

Usually the switches will give you some intermittent operation before they completely fail. But it could be the switch.

If you did a continuity test on the switch and it is open on one side then the switch is bad.

I have also see where the start switch on the saw motor has gotten saw dust in it and will not start the saw.

If you will please reply with the model number of the radial arm saw I will be able to help you further.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.
