Q:

Craftsman Angle Grinder from the 1960's

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to replace the needed parts on this angle grinder.

It may be possible but you may have better luck with a local electric motor shop that may have generic brushes and caps to fit the saw.

The manufacture was Ryobi tools now listed as One World Technologies. 1-800-323-4615.

I hope you will find your parts.

Thank you for using Manage My Life

Q:

I cant figure out where to put a spring on reassembly of a old 1960's hoover model 65

A:

Thank you for your question on the old Hoover upright vacuum cleaner.

I believe this spring goes in between the shoulders on the height adjuster assembly and holds the tension on the lever into the different settings. I think from what I can remember that you put in between the mounting shoulders before you install the pin.

I cannot find a picture to show you how it goes onto the vacuum.

If you can send me a picture with the top cover off it may help me help you.
