Question and Answers

Q:

tractor model #17aa5abp766 after putting in reverse and blades stop to return to mowing and put in forward the tractor dies how to troubleshoot?

A:

Thank you for your question on the tractor disengaging the blades when going in reverse.

This is normal but when you bring the arms back to neutral it should restart the blades and not have the tractor engine die.

I am waiting for a wiring diagram from the source to see if it could be one of the reverse switches that is causing the problem.

I should be able to get back to you tomorrow Friday the 27th.

Thank you for your patience. The manufacture contact would like to have a serial number off the Zero Turn in order to supply us with a wiring diagram for the tractor. If the mean time you may want to look at the reverse switches in the base of the steering handles to see if one of them could be the problem. Sam A.
