Question and Answers

Q:

Toro LX425, model 13BX60RG744, cutting blades will not engage. Suggestions on a fix?

A:

I suspect something got moved out of position or disconnected when you were replacing the blades.

Lower the deck to the lowest position and watch the deck idler pulleys as someone engages and disengages the deck for you.

Check the position of the deck engagement cable, see if the cable is moving in and out as the deck is engaged. Check the idler pulleys for movement as the deck is engaged, something might be jammed and the spring is stretching instead of moving the idler bracket.
