Question and Answers

Q:

I need a replacement remote for my Craftsman Garage door model 13953681B. Can I purchase this?

A:

You can buy the 139.53681B remote at [www.searspartsdirect.com], or at most Sears retail stores.

I am sending you an image with instructions for programming a keyless entry to the opener.

Before you program the remote or keyless, erase the codes in the memory of the logic board on the opener. Do this by holding the learn button on the logic board in until the led goes off. You will need to program all remotes and the keyless entry after erasing the codes.

Q:

I changed the battery in my 3 button garage door remote (13953681B) now it does not work. What is wrong?

A:

When you replace the battery in the remote, you have to reprogram it to the logic board in the garage door opener.

I am sending you an image of the programming instructions from the garage door opener owner's manual. Be sure to erase the codes in the logic board before programming the remote. The memory of the logic board will store 4-6 codes. when it is full it won't accept another code.
