Q:

Remote controls will not operate when GD lights are on. 13953664SRT2 Craftsman Garage door opener

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern with the garage door opener.

I assume the remotes worked after installing the keyless pad and the premium wall control and then later the remotes failed to open the door only when the incandescent lights were on.
Based on your symptom, since the remotes operated the door after installing the keyless pad and the premium console, I would first replace the batteries in the remotes. I must assume the wall control and keyless pad will continue to open and close the door while the lights are on. Also, if the premium wall control mounting screw is too tight, it can create various issues. Loosen the mounting screw on the premium wall control and then see if it works correctly. The screw being too tight can warp the control board and cause operating issues.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

The procedure for programming the light button on that remote is shown in the image below. You may need to erase all codes and then re-program the remotes as mentioned in that link for a previous answer that Joseph P. posted in the above response.

Here is a link for the full owner's manual on your garage door opener in case you need it: Craftsman Garage Door Opener 139.53664SRT2 Owner's Manual .
