Any Better Answer on the Spring Clip? 13517243 Craftsman Scrolling sabre saw

I think one of them is a spare. The spring clip is held between the parts #54, the foot, and #59, the holder. You will need to remove them from the tool by unscrewing the #62 bolt. Before you do the following dis-assembly, please take some pictures to remind yourself how the #64 lever is oriented. Note that the #61 yoke fits into the holes of the lever. Also note the orientation of the #61 yoke. Secure the saw upside down with the cord to the right and the blade to the left. Remove the blade. Undo the bolt. Carefully lift off the lever. Lift the #59 holder up to the right while it separates from the #54 foot. The #55 bracket will flop down, that is ok. Orient the clip, opening down, with the tiny lip to the left. Put the plain end of the clip into the slot on the holder, keeping everything in the same orientation. Move the clip [rotating] almost all the way through the slot, lift the roller up so that the flat end in on the holder next to the slot, then move the clip back so that the tiny lip end of it now goes over the flat end. The tension will hold it in place. That's it. Assembly is easy as long as you haven't the orientation of anything.
