Question and Answers

Q:

I am looking for info on the number, and specs for the optional electric starter kit 8890. Can you help?

A:

There is no mention in the parts diagram for the engine of whether or not there is a ring gear on the flywheel of your engine. If there is no ring gear for the starter gear to engage, you can't add an electric starter to the engine.

I would hesitate to add something as expensive as an electric starter to a snow thrower as old as yours is.

We don't have any specs on the starter kit. The part number for the kit is 33328D, and the cost is around $170.00. Our records indicate we have the kit in stock and available to order.

Q:

I need the part that attaches to bolt 131 of part number 138017. This part also attaches to frame of the 917271100 mower.

A:

The part you are looking for is located on the "chassis and enclosures" page and is item 143. Item 3 on the deck page attaches to this L-bracket as shown in the image I am sending you. Bolt 130 is the left bolt shown and bolt 131 is the right side bolt.

The part number for the L-bracket is 186689, and the price is around $3.00. Bolt 131 bolts the bracket (item 3) to the L-bracket which attaches to the frame.

You mentioned needing the part that bolt 130 bolts to, but that part is the frame of the tractor.

Q:

Trouble shooting a Kenmore Elite dishwasher

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. Without having any details of the problem I won't be able to provide any specific troubleshooting assistance. The front panel buttons can not be re-programmed. The buttons do nothing more than complete a circuit when pushed. There is a sequence of buttons to push in order to run a test cycle, you would push Heated Dry---Normal---Heated Dry---Normal and then the dishwasher will cycle through all the steps of the washing cycles.

Reply with details of the problem for further assistance.
