Question and Answers

Q:

Can not control oven temp

A:

Thank you for you question.

I can understand you concern when the oven will not shut off when comes to pre-set temperature.

It sounds like one of two possible problems.

If you have never reached the error detection threshold it would not come up with the error code that would an F1 F3 or F9.

The oven temperature sensor is one possible cause.

The oven sensor can be checked with a volt/ohm meter if you have one. It should read about 1100 ohms at 75 to 80 degrees.

It the sensor checks okay then it is highly likely that the electronic control board has a stuck relay and will have to be replaced.
