What does error code 01 indicate on my HE3?
With out the model number or description of the product I do not know if you are referring to your HE3 washer or HE3 dryer. Based on the Dryer listed in your home profile the 01 code is not listed. The error codes on the dryer will display as "E1, E2, and E3"
There are no error codes 01 for the HE3 dryers or HE3 washers.
The 01 is not an error code.

Check the child lock function to make sure that function is not enabled as shown in the first image below. You did not indicate the error code that you are seeing on the dishwasher. The second and third images show the error codes for this type of dishwasher. If you see one of these error codes, you may be able to perform some of the troubleshooting shown in those images. Be sure that you shut off the circuit breaker for the dishwasher to completely disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components. What does the F 01 code on my Kenmore washer indicate?
The F 01 error code indicates a problem with the CCU (Central Control Unit in other words the main control board). This could be caused by an EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) communication error. This type of error can sometimes be caused by a power surge or glitch through the electrical supply lines. Unplug the washer or disconnect electrical power for two minutes. Plug the washer back in and see if it operates properly. If not, you will need to replace the CCU control board.
