Thank you for your question.

I can understand your concern with the performance indicator being on and it having poor suction.

With the performance indicator on would indicate that there still is an air block in the air flow somewhere.

If you disconnect the hose from the wand floor tool and turn the vacuum on does the indicator still light up. If it does there could be a blockage from the handle part of the hose all the way to the intake of the motor in the dust compartment.

My bet is that there still is something in the hose.

It can be difficult to make sure the hose is clean because of the fittings on the ends of the hose.

If you can find something that is flexible enough to ramrod through the hose I think it will fix the problem.

If you have a shop vacuum you can hook to one end of the hose with the hose disconnected from the vacuum you might be able to clean it that way.

If the light goes with just the hose attached then it is in the wands and down to the power mate floor tool.

I have seen Christmas tree needles stuck in hose 6 months after Christmas because they get stuck in the hose and as you continue to vacuum it builds up behind those needles until its blocked.

Please reply with where you find the blockage, and if you need more help I will happy to help you further.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.
