Q:

I just purchased a new house. The sellers did not leave the code for the keypad, how do I reset?

A:

Thank you for your question on the resetting of the key less entry code.

You will have to rest the memory of the door opener.

You will need a ladder for getting up to the motor unit on the opener.

Push and hold the learn button on the motor unit next to the little yellow l.e.d. for at least 6 seconds or until the little l.e.d. light goes out.

Then push but do not hold the learn button and put in you new 4 digit number on the number pad and push and hold the enter button for a few seconds until the work light on the motor unit flashes once. You will have about 30 seconds to do the programming before it times out.

Then push the learn button so the light comes on and program your remotes. Again with each remote the work light should flash once.

This process should program all your remotes and key less entry pad.

A:

Charis, I recommend clearing all the codes as stated above. Then program the remote that is not working first. If it will not program but all the others do, I suspect a problem with that remote. You can try swapping out the battery from another remote first. If that remote this will not work, I recommend replacing the remote. Please let me know what happens, after trying this. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark.

Q:

Electric lawnmower motor hookup

A:

There is not a connection diagram or technical information available for this electric mower that will show how to connect the wires. I recommend that you take the mower into a Sears Repair Center to have the wires connected by a technician. Here is a link for the Sears Service website that has drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .
