Our Craftsman Saw Band no longer has combo blade #9-4937. So will you please help me by recommending a part number for a finish blade to

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem finding the blade. According to the model number you have submitted, this is a 10 inch table saw. If it is a table saw, you can use a 10-inch blade. I have looked up the blades we offer. Click here to be taken to the combination blades.

I hope this is helpful. Pleas let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Why is my table saw upside down and how do I replace the belt?

Thank you for your question on the table saw motor.

When this saw was purchased new it did not come with a motor.

You purchased the saw and then went over to the motor department and bought a motor the size you wanted for the saw.

I would say that through the years that motor may been changed or replaced and that is why it is upside down.

There is a slot on the side of the motor bracket that has a shoulder bolt in it. The motor will pivot in that slot as you raise and lower the blade.

The motor mount has two round pins that slide into the chassis on the arbor housing. Loosen those set screws and slide the motor out until the shoulder bolt is about half way in the smile of the bracket and then tighten the set screws.

The motor should pivot up and down as you raise and lower the blade. It may take a couple of times to make sure the weight of the motor on the free floating pivot bracket will keep tension on the belt from the lowest blade setting to the highest blade setting without the smile bolt bottoming out on either end of the smile bracket.

Please let me know how it goes.
