Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Your dryer has two operating thermostats regulating the low heat and high heat. The heat selection is determined by the timer selection. Knits/Delicate operates off of the low operating thermostat which opens and breaks the L1 circuit to the heating element somewhere between 126 and 140 degrees. The Cotton/Sturdy cycle temperature is regulated by the high heat thermostat which will open at approximately between 135 and 150 degrees. A venting issue can cause lower temperatures and longer dry times. I recommend disconnecting the vent hose fro the back of the dryer and monitor the exhaust temperatures and take an average. Check both cycles and see what the exhaust temperatures are running at. If the exhaust temperatures do not reach the between 126-140 degrees on low or 135-150 degrees on high heat, I recommend replacing the high and low operating thermostats located on the blower wheel housing and then see if gets any hotter. You will find three (3) components on the blower housing. The bottom one is the high temperature operating thermostat and the one above it is the low temperature operating thermostat. The component at the top of the two thermostats is the thermal fuse.

Check the things I have covered here and if I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
