Question and Answers

Purchased Part #3362624, but can not attach because timer shaft spins while I try to screw it on. 110-82891100

Thank You for choosing Sears and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your washer and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 11082891100 and if the knob is just moving freely, it could have damaged threads where it mounts onto the timer shaft, but it would be worth it to take it off and examine it before replacement to be sure it's the knob and not the timer shaft.

This knob will unthread from the timer shaft by pushing it in and turning it counterclockwise. If the threads on the timer knob are okay but it appears the timer shaft spins freely, you may need a timer replacement versus the knob. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears
