Question and Answers

Q:

How do I install the replacement knob for my washer that is different from the original knob?

A:

If the original timer is in the washer and has not been replaced, then the part number that you indicated (3362624) should thread onto the timer shaft. If the timer has been replaced, then the knob may not fit the timer shaft. Unplug the washer and check the part number on the timer that is in the washer. It should be part number 388296. If it has a timer with a different part number, this could be causing your problem.
