Question and Answers

Why won't my Kenmore model 11073046100 dryer will not power up?

From the description you give there is a loose connection at the control or the interface.

You will need access to a volt/ohm meter to diagnose this problem. If you are not comfortable and confident in checking voltage then I suggest a technician check and repair this problem.

Without a meter there is not much that can be done with this problem except unplug the P3 and P4 interface connectors and plug them back it. Remember to unplug the dryer first.

With a meter the only check to make would be 120 volts on the black and white wires on the P1 connection. Use extreme caution checking this and only if you comfortable and confident doing so.

If there is 120 volts to the main control and the interface connections are okay then it is likely the main control has failed.

The console can be raised to access the control by removing the two end caps and accessing the two screws holding the console down. Remember to unplug the dryer first.

I hope this information is helpful to you but submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.
