You did not clarify it the console will power up or not. First, the dryer must have a 220-240 voltage supply in order to operate. I recommend locating the two house circuit breakers dedicated for the dryer and resetting both breakers by flipping them both OFF and ON 2-3 times and then see if the dryer will start. If it does not start then voltage supply must be verified at the dryer terminal block where the power cord attaches. The voltage must measure 220-240 volts when measuring across the two outside terminals of the terminal block. If proper voltage has been verified and the dryer does not start but powers up, the failure could be one of the following:

  • Thermal fuse
  • Belt switch
  • Belt came off or had broken
  • Door switch
  • Lack of neutral
