Question and Answers

Q:

where is the Air Dome on Kenmore Model 11044722401 washer

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The air dome is molded to the lower side of the outer tub. You can follow the air hose connected to the water level pressure switch down to the air dome. I added an image below with instructions on how to remove the top and the component cover. See image below.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Kenmore portable clothes washer #11044722401, does not aggitate, but does spin.

A:

The first image below shows a diagnostic test that you can use to check the washer and recall any error codes that were recorded during the cycle. The second image shows the error codes for this washer. I recommend that you use that diagnostic test as the first step in troubleshooting and repairing this problem. If there is an error code stored in the machine, you can refer to the second image to decipher that code.

This may point you in the direction of your failure. If you need parts, you can order them from this page: Kenmore Washer Model 110.44722401 Parts . Be sure that you unplug the washer before accessing internal components.

Q:

Why does water leak from my adapter and not fill my Kenmore portable washer model 11044722401?

A:

It sounds like your fill and drain hose connector is not properly snapping into place on the coupler that is installed on your new faucet. You may need to use a different adapter to hook up the fill and drain hose connector on this new faucet. Most plumbing or hardware stores will have various adapters that can be used on your faucet.

You could also have a failed fill and drain hose connector that would prevent the washer from filling properly. You may need to replace this connector.

I recommend that you disconnect the fill hose from the back of the washer. Hook up the drain and fill hose connector. Place the end of the fill hose in the sink. Turn on the water supply to see if you get proper flow and pressure through the fill hose end that is in the sink. If you are not getting water flow through the fill hose, then you have verified that you have a problem with the drain and fill hose connector. If you do have proper pressure and flow from the fill hose, then you could have a problem with the fill valve or the control for your washer.

If you need more help, resubmit your question with additional details.
