Question and Answers

Q:

Kenmore Washer 110-29822801

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the new timer did not resolve the issue, then I suspect the "sensor switch/load sensor" part #W10248240 is likely faulty.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Kenmore washer does not fill water not agitating. Model # 11029822801

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Your specific model washer has a load sensor switch that controls the fill cycle. The load sensor is most likely faulty. In order to confirm if the load sensor is faulty will require making live voltage checks. Note: I do not recommend measuring voltage unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so; otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your washer. I added a couple of images below with the steps on how to diagnose a faulty load sensor. The second image shows how to release the console.

The load sensor #W10248240 for Kenmore washer model 110.29822801 can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Kenmore model 11029822801 washer. Fill water shuts off when the lid opens

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

This is the way the washer is designed and due to your safety and others this feature cannot be bypassed.

This feature will not allow the washer to operate with the lid open during any operation. The lid switch is wired in series with the line one voltage supply and I can not provide any instruction how to by pass this feature.
