Repair instructions, Kenmore washer, model #11028803890

A:

To access the inlet water valve assembly on that Kenmore Washer Model 110.28803890, you will need to unplug the washer and pull the cabinet off as shown in the image below. Be sure that you shut off the water supply before beginning that repair. 

 

Once you pull that cabinet off, you can access and replace the inlet valve assembly.

how to take clip off to separate my washer

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I added a couple of images below showing how to remove the cabinet clips. I also added an image showing how to remove the control panel end caps in case you didn't know. Pull the top of the end cap up and pivot them forward to remove. Remove the screw at the bottom of each cap and then slide the control panel towards the front of the washer. Lift the control panel up and hinge it over the rear panel. See first image below showing how the release the cabinet clips and remove the cabinet. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.
