There is no belt on this model. There is a motor coupler but if the washer agitates okay then coupler is okay.

From the description you give I suspect the problem is with the basket drive and/or clutch. You might see the washer spin with a light load but not spin with a heavy load.

The basket drive and clutch can be changed by removing the transmission. On a scale of 1 (easy) to 10 (difficult) this would be about an 8.

The spin bearing might start out as a small squeal/squeak. The noise eventually will sound like a freight train going through the house.

One thing to consider is that brand new similar washers cost about $329 dollars.
