Question and Answers

Q:

I purchased a drainage hose for my Kenore washer and it leaks. I installed it as directions said.

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the drain hose. If the hose has a hole in it, I recommend calling the parts department and have them exchange it for you. If the hose is leaking at the connection at the washer, you can try a different style clamp on the hose. The original hose is a spring clamp that you cannot tighten if the hose leaks. I recommend using a worm clamp to secure the hose. This type of clamp can be bought at any hardware store. Just bring the drain hose in with you so you know what size to get. Once you have the clamp slip the clamp on the hose. Then push the hose onto the back of the washer. After you have the hose on tighten the clamp with a screwdriver. (Not too tight just tight enough to seal the hose.) Then fill the washer and check for leaks.

I hope this helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
