Question and Answers

Q:

cannot use fabric softener with the way it rises 11020022013 Kenmore Automatic washer

A:

I understand your disappointment with that Kenmore Washer Model 110.20022013.

Since your model of washer uses a deep fill, the best way to dispenser fabric softener is to use a dispenser ball such as this one: Downy Ball -- Fabric Softener Dispenser.

If you do not want to keep the washer, you can contact the store where you purchased it to arrange an exchange or return.

The similar model 110.21102000 does have a fabric softener dispenser built into the washer. It will dispense the fabric softener automatically during the rinse cycle. Here is a link for that model: Kenmore  3.4 cu. ft. Top-Load Washing Machine Model 21102.

I apologize for any mistakes that were made when you were purchasing your current model of washer. I am sure that the store will be able to help you resolve those issues. If you need more help, let us know.

Hello Bill. I checked for any kits or revisions that might help you adapt the washer for dispensing fabric softener. I did not find any kits or revisions available. I apologize for that inconvenience. The Downey ball appears to be the only fabric softener dispensing method available for that model.

Q:

kenmore washer rinse cycle

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

In order to get a deep rinse fill, you must select fabric softener or the second rinse otherwise it will not have a deep fill rinse.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Karen: No, the washer is not going to fill completely in the rinse cycle. Your washer is operating as designed. This is normal.

Q:

Why must clothes washer spin cycle draw water?

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

This is how the washer is designed to operate and it's operating normally. It's a rinse spin cycle.

 I hope this is helpful.
