Question and Answers

Q:

Garden tractor model 917.273080

A:

Thank you for your question.  I will be happy to assist you with this question. I looked up the model number you submitted. The spring you are asking about is the brake lever return spring. The spring connects to the hole in the brake lever on one end. Then stretch the spring towards the front of the tractor and connect the other end to the frame. The spring should pull the lever forward when you release the brake.  I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. The "spanner nut" requires a special tool and a hammer in order to remove it. You need a "spanner wrench". The part number of the spanner wrench is 14218862 and can be ordered and shipped to you from Sears Parts Direct . In order to remove the spanner nut, turn the spanner nut counterclockwise (CCW).

Q:

I turned my room air conditioner on then off then on again and now it will not turn on anymore. What should I do?

A:

If you do not hear the fan or compressor running, the circuit breaker for that outlet/circuit likely tripped. Locate the house breaker box and reset the breaker(s) for that circuit by flipping the breaker(s) OFF and back ON 2-3 times while the air conditioner is turned off or unplugged. Plug the air conditioner in or turn it back on and it will likely operate. You should never turn off an air conditioner and immediately turn it back on before the sealed system pressure equalizes or it can cause it to trip the circuit breaker(s).

If it won't come on after resetting the breakers, the voltage supply to air conditioner should be verified before calling for service.
