Question and Answers

Q:

Can someone give me the outside dimensions for a Kenmore side by side 10657577790

A:

We don't have the exact outside the dimensions for that older refrigerator available. It likely has these approximate dimensions:

  • Width -- 35 1/2"
  • Height -- 65 7/8"
  • Depth -- 33 3/4"

Q:

I am trying to find a diagram of my side by side to see if the maintenance guy can fix it;

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the refrigerator. Next time the refrigerator stops working turn the thermostat. If the refrigerator works after messing with the thermostat, I recommend replacing the thermostat. If that does not turn the refrigerator on, I recommend checking the voltage to the thermostat. Working with live electrical current can be very hazardous and possibly deadly. Testing voltage output requires working with electrical current. Do not attempt this measurement without the proper tools and safeguards. If you feel confident checking live voltage check from the orange wire on the thermostat to any white wire. You should have a reading of at least 110 volts. If you do not have this reading check the black wire on the defrost control to any white wire. The defrost control is located in the housing with the thermostat. If you have the 110 volts reading I recommend replacing the defrost control. I would provide the wiring diagram the quality of the diagram is not that good. If you need further assistance, please reply below with more details.
