Q:

How many kWh/yr is the Kenmore Coldspot 10654536400 supposed to use?

A:

I don't have the exact kWh/yr. energy usage for this model. Based on a similar model, it should be rated at 724kWhr/yr. This rating should be fairly accurate.

Q:

Ice maker stopped producing ice. Model 10654536400. No Leaks. dispenses water fine.

A:

Make sure that the metal arm on the side of the ice maker is fully placed in the down position. If it is even partially up, the ice maker will not cycle.

You can try to manually cycle the ice maker module as described in this link of a previous answer: Why did the icemaker quit working? .

I you need to replace the ice maker module, you can order a new one from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number for the ice maker module is 4317943. Be sure that you unplug the refrigerator before replacing the ice maker module.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Trying to replace Ice Maker.. How do I plug it in if it doesn't have a plug 10654536400 Kenmore Side by side refrigerator

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Your old icemaker harness will disconnect from the left side by pulling the connector off where it plugs into a harness receptacle. Some connect to the rear with a rectangle plug and some will have a round connector on the side of the freezer wall. This is why the icemaker kit is supplied with two different harnesses. I added a video below showing how to install this icemaker kit.  NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the wall before servicing.

Here is a video showing how to install ice maker kit #4317943.

I hope this is helpful.
