Frigidaire freestanding electric range with glass touch panel error codes

Frigidaire

These error code explanations can help diagnose a problem on a Frigidaire freestanding electric range with a glass touch panel. Models beginning with FPCF3091, CPCF3091, FPIF3093 and CPIF3093 display these codes.

Error codes appear on the control panel display when the electronic oven control board detects component failures. When an error code appears, look up the cause of the code and the DIY troubleshooting advice in the chart below to help you fix your slide-in range.

Runaway temperature (oven temperature is over 600 degrees and increasing)

Check/Repair

Disconnect power from the range. Check the resistance of the oven temperature sensor using a multimeter. You should measure about 1,100 ohms resistance through the sensor at room temperature. If not, replace the sensor. If the oven temperature sensor is okay and the oven continues to overheat, replace the oven control board because a stuck relay on the control board is causing the oven to overheat.
