Whirlpool EveryDrop water filter (part number EDR2RXD1) has NSF certifications 42, 53 and 401; it reduces lead and other metals; chlorine taste and odor; volatile organic compounds (VOCs); and some pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
EveryDrop water filter EDR2RXD1 fits select Kenmore, Whirlpool, Ikea, JennAir, KitchenAid and Maytag side-by-side refrigerators and bottom-freezer refrigerators; also fits select JennAir all-refrigerator and all-freezer models.
Replace every 6 months, or more often if water flow slows noticeably.
Follow the package instructions when you install this EveryDrop water filter.
Water filter EDR2RXD1 replaces earlier filter part numbers 9924, FILTER2, W10238154, W10413645, W10413645A, W10609378, W10673882 and W10680605.

Overpriced for what you get
I've had the same issue as others with this filter. Purchased a new filter dec 29 2023, it's now march 2 2024 and I'm at 10%. Had to go and buy a new ridiculously expensive filter. Hoping it lasts longer than 2 months! It also slows water to a bare trickle

Terrible product, does not last
Terrible product, if I could switch to anything else I would in a heartbeat. The filter is good for the first 4-5 weeks for a family of 4 each filling up a water bottle every day, then it quickly deteriorates to a slow trickle (and we have a water softener). Have been using these filters for over 3 years, and it's never gotten better... honestly makes me not want to buy a Jenn-Air refrigerator again if this is the junk they recommend using. It would be one thing if they were relatively inexpensive, but they're not. Very frustrating

Cloudy water after new install
I bought this last week and ran 5 gallons through it and the water is still cloudy everytime I use it. Previous filters didn't do this.
