I wish I had the mower mandrel I ordered back in May !
It is now July. In tracking the mandrel I found it is currently touring : Illinois ,Pennsylvania ,New Jersey and Massachusetts. I find this to be an odd route for delivery to Oregon . I wish I could review the mandrel performance ,but it is still on summer vacation touring the east coast of the U.S. ! Maybe Sears Parts Direct should review their delivery to P.O. Boxes policy !

Installed this mandrel and after 30 minutes of use the top of the housing shattered destroying the bearings.

totally disgusted
I finally opened the box yesterday and found that 2 of the mandrels where previously returned. They had the bearings pressed in with gouges all over them. More importantly none of them where tapped for the bolts, which was always done in other Craftsman mandrels I've gotten in the past. I should have opened the box when I received it, my mistake, but never expected to receive what I did. If I could give zero stars I would have. Totally disgusted. PS the terms agreed to to submit this are ridiculous and unreasonable.

HORRIBLE! NEVER ORDER FROM SEARS
Waited 4 weeks to be shipped even though it said in stock.operators were rude and hung up on me before ic old explain problems. Douchebags no wonder they are bankrupt.

Spindle replacements lack the ability to be grease
I ordered this part from Sears direct to ensure I got the right part. The part was exactly like the original except it did not have the capability to be greased. The original spindles came equipped with zerk fittings. The ability to grease the bearings has been lost with the spindles you supplied me. For this I want to warn buyers to be aware of this!
