Simple to install.
The only hard part of this installation was the process of emptying the entire fridge and taking out all the shelving. 2 screws cover this part at the bottom under the drip shield. After installing the new air damper I took the faulty one apart to see why it no longer worked. The motor that turns the gears had a paper label around it that came off and some of this paper got caught in the gears stopping them from turning to open the flap. Very poor design.
