Kenmore Elite Dryer Does Not Start Drying 110.67052600
kenmore elite oasis dryer model 110.67052600. I click Power and the board lights. I can select cycle, temperature, etc. However, when I press Start I hear only a click. Dryer does not run; however the cycle time does count down. Is this likely to be a thermal fuse? If so, how easy is it for owner to replace?

Hello glad to help. Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com
I am sorry and do understand your frustration when having to do repairs on your dryer for not starting.
Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number 110.67052600.
There are usually 2 things to check when the dryer will not start. 2 things that are most likely to go bad is the door switch or the thermal fuse (maybe both).
On the door, I always advise people to open the door and shut it harder than normal and see if that will awaken the swithch. To test the switch you need to take the wires off and then run a continuity between them and see if you have continuity. If you do great but if not. Time to get a new switch. The thermal fuse on the back end, on the back side of the blower should have about a 10 to 15 ohms on the ohm meter, or just check for the continuity being open or closed. I would say that around 90 percent of the time it is one of those 2 problems to get the dryer started.
I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.
