Have a repair or installation question?

The cooler will not regulate temperture HVF042ABL Haier Wine cooler

One day the cooler froze several bottles of wine. I unplugged for a day and then plugged back in. It just kept chilling and would not cut off. I had to unplug again. Is there a thermostat I can replace?

"the cooler will not regulate temperature" Really, that's an answer? That's ridiculous. Of course it regulates temperature. It has two temperature settings, one for red wine and one for white. That's how it works. Now, that it's NOT working anymore, I would like to know how to fix it.

Ok, my mistake - the way an email came to me, I thought my original complaint was someone's return comment. So sorry.

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your cooler model HVF042ABL; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. Your cooler has a thermistor that helps cycle at correct temperatures, this electronic component messages the control board the information which should cycle the unit on and off. The freezing issue could be cause by one of these components or it could be the result of a sealed system problem.  Proper diagnoses will be required to determine the exact cause. I have attached an image below on how to test the thermistor and how to replace it should you determine it is your exact cause of freezing. I hope this helps. If you should need more help reply with added details and the serial number and I will be happy to respond.  If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services. Ron H.
